This is a very interactive course during which delegates will increase their confidence and skills, by taking part in many practical exercises.
- First things first! – Just who and what are we looking for and how are we searching?
- At least 15 easy ways to get it wrong! At least 20 ways to get it right!
- How to recruit the staff we deserve
- The importance of Probing
- The right questions to get interviewees or staff talking, to draw them out, and to get needed facts and clarification
- Questions to establish knowledge, skills and capability!
- Behavioural Questions to uncover how people behave in situations critical to the needs of a job!
- Motivational Questions to keep everything flowing – career-focused, work-focused and outside interests focused!
- Multiple and Leading Questions to help you make that all-important decision in selection for success!
- How to introduce challenge in interviews, to focus on any lingering doubts and uncover what we need to know.
- How to make the right decisions – using your head and not your heart!
