What are the course aims and objectives?
The Companies Act 2006 is the longest act ever passed by parliament. Company law is changing, particularly in relation to small and medium sized companies. There are new Acts and new statutory Instruments that have been issued and their complexity is legendary. There are exemptions within exemptions and then there are exceptions to the exemptions!
The implementation of CA 2006 will be nearing finalisation. This is a practical session looking at the implementation of the Act for smaller non-quoted entities.
