What are the course aims and objectives?
The Anti-Money Laundering rules are complex and from 15 December 2007 the Money Laundering Regulations 2007 have brought in more change.
This course will be a practical guide to the reporting and due diligence (identification) rules and will assist firms in honing their procedures to ensure that they are both effective and efficient.
The course will also cover recent amendments to the rules such as MLR 2007, the ICAEW Guidance, the extension of legal privilege and SOCPA 2005.
Who should attend?
The course is aimed at practical accountants who advise clients on accounts and tax. This would include partners, managers and other senior staff.
