This half day training course course is suitable for anyone who feels anxious about public speaking / making presentations.
What You Can Gain
Increased confidence when speaking to individual senior staff, when speaking in meetings or when presenting to groups.
Very beneficial skills are covered on this short course and delegates will have the opportunity to practise with each other. (The format is as in our
Networking a Room – Essential Skills course). However please note that delegate numbers are not restricted for this course and no video feedback takes place.

- Overcoming the fear everyone feels
- How to achieve a confident start and grab attention
- Projecting your voice
- Pausing for effect – and to remember what comes next
- Using eye-contact to show confidence
- How to read your notes AND look at the audience
- Techniques to avoid showing nervousness
- What to do if you go “blank”
- The best ways to write your presentation
- Making a memorable conclusion
You may wear any clothing you wish. However to make the practical exercises as realistic for you as possible and to assist in looking at what you may do with your hands etc, we would suggest wearing the clothes that you would typically wear for a presentation.
CPD: 3 Hours/ Units
FEE: £120 plus VAT or 2 'Block Places' (from
