Introduction
A workshop to help you improve the way they are measured and reported
This course will challenge the current thinking about performance indicators and explain why current measures are not creating the change intended. It will help participants revolutionise the way they measure, report and improve performance through the appropriate use of the four types of performance measures (KRIs, PIs and RIs).
Key performance indicators (or KPIs) are misused in many organisations and are not creating the focus, alignment and achievement that organisations are seeking. Some organisations try and manage with over forty KPIs, many of which are not true KPIs.
David has studied performance indicators and has developed a new insight into why KPIs may not be working in some organisations. He believes that performance measures are broken into four groups: key result indicators (KRIs), performance indicators (PIs) result indicators (RIs) and KPIs. The lack of recognition of this fact has clouded perspective and led organisations to work with the wrong indicators at the wrong levels. It has also led to many balanced scorecards failing to deliver on their promise.
