Aim of the Course

Techniques used to review audit files.

Who should attend

This course is ideal for third year accountancy trainees and newly qualified staff.

Course Content

• Common errors made when reviewing
• What to look for when reviewing – A reviewer is not simply repeating what has been done, he is bringing additional expertise to the work. We explore what this expertise compromises 
• A possible system for reviewing a file and raising review notes is explained 
• Delegates will practice reviewing a debtors section of an audit file and particular emphasis will be placed on the additional skill and knowledge that should be brought to the process, over and above the work done by the originator.
