Aim of the Course

This short course is intended to satisfy the requirement for ACA students to complete structured training in ethics early in their training contracts. This course will also be useful for students taking other accountancy qualifications.

Course content: 

The course consists of a series of short case studies which raise ethical issues. Participants discuss these, firstly in syndicates, and then in plenary session. Further comment and practical examples are added by the presenter. 

The issues arising will include: 

  • Confidentiality 
  • Objectivity 
  • Independence 
  • Competence 
  • Due care and skill 
  • Gifts 
  • Courtesy and consideration

CPD: 2 Hours
FEE: £95 + VAT or 1 'Block Booking Place' (from £50 + VAT)
