What are the course aims and objectives?
In recent years, there has been no let-up in the volume of new CGT legislation. This culminate in the major changes announced by the Chancellor on 9 October 2007. The aim of this course is to examine some key CGT problem areas in 2008 and to suggest some practical solutions.
The course will cover:
Planning under the new CGT regime
Problem areas with CGT holdover relief
Earn-out arrangements
Principal private residence planning
