To provide delegates with a detailed understanding of the current tax issues relating to partnerships, including opportunities to mitigate the tax exposure on partners.
The course will cover:
- The basic rules on commencement and cessation
- New partners and retiring partners
- Capital allowances claims
- Loss relief, including restrictions on sideways relief
- Family partnerships
- CGT entrepreneurs’ relief
- IHT business property relief
- Incorporation issues
