What are the course aims and objectives?
The course is aimed at practitioners advising the self-employed client and will cover all issues of practical interest to your client. The course will address problem areas for the self employed and suggest many ways of minimising the tax bill.
The course will cover:
Capital v revenue
Applying the wholly and exclusively test to problem areas
Maximising travel claims
Mitigating HMRC attack on wife's wages
Working from home deductions
Planning with new capital allowances regime
Maximising reliefs on pension contributions
Optimising tax credit claims
