Aim of the Training 

This practical training is designed to enable those with no accounting knowledge at all to be able to understand the essential details of a set of travel company accounts and the main reporting requirements.

• The differences between Profit & Loss Account, Income & Expenditure Account, Receipts & Payments Account, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Forecasts and Budgets 
• Financial Accounts vs. Management Accountants 
• How entries impact on Cash Flow 
• The accounting treatment of Capital Expenditure and Depreciation 
• Key figures to look at when analysing accounts 
• Notes to the accounts - what's in them 
• Assurance provided by audit and other reports 
• VAT - the essential elements you should know
