PHP/Magento Developer

Salary: Dependent on experience

PASS Ltd, the nationwide test equipment, calibration and training specialist is looking for a PHP/Magento Developer to work on improving and expanding their portfolio of websites within the Marketing and eCommerce team.

The role requires good communication skills and the ability to convert ideas into practical website applications. You must be flexible in your approach and willing to learn new skills and techniques.

This is an integral role in a dynamic team. You must be capable of managing and working on multiple projects and have the ability to work to deadlines.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To build, maintain, upgrade and enhance our websites using PHP, jQuery and MySQL
  • Communicate directly with the internal marketing teams to understand their requirements
  • Carryout routine maintenance, updates and patches, to sustain site performances

 

Experience Required:

  • Frontend development
  • Experience with eCommerce
  • WordPress
  • CSS3
  • HTML / 5
  • Knowledge of Javascript
  • PHP
  • Bootstrap
  • Significant knowledge of OOP in PHP5 development
  • Experience with MYSQL and database design
  • Ability to solve complex tasks
  • MVC Frameworks

 

Magneto and server maintenance experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

Category Marketing Managers x 4

PASS is looking to recruit a number of Category Marketing Managers to manage and complete all of the marketing activity associated with a specified target market sector.

PASS Ltd supplies test equipment, electrical HV&LV training courses and accredited calibration & repair services across a wide variety of sectors across the UK and overseas.

As the Category Marketing Manager, you will have a proven track record of working within a marketing role ideally within the electrical or training industry.

 

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager duties will include:

  • Managing all of the marketing activities for your category/division
  • Development of the marketing plan for your division in line with company objectives
  • Creation and publication of all your divisions marketing material in line with marketing plans
  • Updating social media
  • Management of your divisions contacts and customer database
  • Introducing the company and product range to new customers and markets
  • Direct marketing; including the creation of email campaigns and customer mailings
  • Develop literature and collateral (both online / offline)
  • Develop and organise advertising campaigns and PR to increase awareness in the relevant target markets
  • Organisation and attendance of events, trade shows and exhibitions
  • Other duties as required.

 

You will need to have proven experience within a Marketing role, ideally with an industrial, process manufacturing, electrical, calibration, GAS/HVAC or training company in a B2B environment.

You will also need to possess advanced level Microsoft Office Professional skills including PowerPoint and Excel, with great attention to detail as well as excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign would also be advantageous.

Other required skills include strong analytical and project management skills, confident personality, strong creative outlook, excellent organisation skills, strong communication skills, able to deliver results to tight deadlines and ability to work under pressure.

 

Skills and personal attributes:

  • Marketing experience, ideally gained in a B2B business
  • Ability to work as part of a team to achieve the departmental standards
  • A working knowledge of how to operate Word, Excel and E-mail. Use of email and CRM software would be an advantage
  • Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal
  • At least GCSE’s in English Language and Maths or equivalent
  • Excellent customer focus
  • Good time management
  • Clear telephone manner and clear listening skills
  • Team player
  • Flexible approach
  • Demonstrates drive and positive approach to work and a determination and motivation to achieve targets
  • Experience in the electrical industry would also be an advantage but is not essentialal

Sales Assistant – Test Equipment

Salary: £14,000 + Commission

Ideally from a telesales/call centre background, you will be responsible for following up quotations.

You will have great customer service and IT skills.

Electrical and/or electronics experience and knowledge will be an advantage, however this is not essential.
