About You
You Want To Gain Your Chartered Accountant Qualifications Excellent! We only want Trainees who want to become fully qualified. Not only will we support you in achieving your ICAEW qualifications, but we will supplement your technical training with additional, PASS practical and management training courses. Our aim is that in 3 years’ time you will be fully qualified, have had excellent practical work experience in our office, promoted to “Senior” and well on the road to becoming a Manager.
You Have The Aptitude To Understand & Interpret Data Having technical knowledge is a prerequisite for any Accountant! However, we want you to be more than just a technically proficient Accountant. Our aim is to provide our clients not just with an accurate set of accounts (any Practice should be able to do that!), but the ability to apply our knowledge and understanding to help them grow their business and better manage their finances.
You See Yourself As An Expert Not A Boffin We are not looking for office based, desk bound, closet Accountants! We are looking for those commercially aware, bright and intelligent graduates who also enjoy meeting and communicating with people. Many people have the technical capability, but few will be able to combine that technical capability with the personality traits that enables them to act as our Client Managers of the future. Our Practice will not be right for you if you are the brightest person around, but a bit of a loner who likes sitting at your pc, or prefers being alone to mixing and socialising with people.
You Have A Good Sense of Humour And Want To Be Part Of Our Successful And Happy Team. “Work Hard, Play Hard” may be a cliché, but it applies here! If you want to be a “nine to fiver” then you are best suited elsewhere. We want an Accountant, an Entrepreneur, a Communicator and a Team Player!
