The HVSO5 High Voltage Sanction for Test Receipt Authorisation Course is designed for electrical professionals responsible for authorising and managing test receipt operations on high voltage (HV) power systems. The course focuses on legal compliance and safety, including the Electricity at Work Regulations and industry best practices, ensuring delegates can carry out their duties confidently and in line with regulatory requirements.
Aimed at experienced personnel working in HV environments, this training prepares candidates to safely authorise test receipts and reduce risk during critical HV testing activities. It does not teach testing methods such as primary or secondary injection; instead, it authorises existing HV testing personnel to prepare and submit approved test documentation for power systems up to and including 15 kV, following safe working procedures and relevant legislation.
