LCL Awards DNGA3 Managed Learning Programme for Domestic Natural Gas Appliances Course
The LCL Awards Managed Learning Programme (MLP) — DNGA3 is the structured route into gas engineering designed specifically for those entering the domestic heating sector. Covering central heating boilers and instantaneous water heaters, this comprehensive programme combines centre-based learning with supervised on site gas work under Gas Safe supervision.
Ideal for new entrants or operatives with transferable skills, DNGA3 satisfies entry requirements for ACS Category 2 & 3 assessments (CCN1 & CENWAT). A re assessment stream is also available for existing operatives seeking to renew their qualification efficiently.
Why take the DNGA3 Managed Learning Programme?
Completing the DNGA3 MLP provides both the competence and certification needed to progress into ACS training and Gas Safe registration. You receive structured teaching in legislation, combustion, gas installation, and appliance servicing, alongside supervised real world work to build your gas portfolio.
Our programme offers tailored mentoring, modular pacing, and excellent resource access—starting with a free introduction session to assess suitability. Re assessment options are available for operatives maintaining their gas credentials.
