The LCL Awards Water Regulations Certificate (LCWR23) instructs plumbing and
heating professionals on the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999—commonly known as WRAS. It’s a mandatory
qualification for plumbers aiming to join local Approved Plumber Schemes (WIAPS) and WaterSafe directories, as well
as anyone pursuing renewable technologies like heat pumps or solar thermal systems.
The course blends guided
learning with self-study, and although reassessment isn’t standard, you may retake the exam if needed to maintain
competency.
