Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

This competition is promoted by PASS Ltd (“the Promoter”).

2. Competition Period

The competition opens at 12:00am on 3 August 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 25 October 2026 (UK time).

Prize draws take place on these dates:

• 17 Aug: 2382-26
• 24 Aug: PAT Competency
• 31 Aug: 2391-52
• 7 Sep: 2382-26
• 14 Sep: PAT Competency
• 21 Sep: 2391-52
• 28 Sep: 2382-26
• 5 Oct: PAT Competency
• 12 Oct: 2391-52
• 19 Oct: 2382-26
• 26 Oct: PAT Competency

PASS Ltd reserves the right to amend the competition period where necessary.

3. Eligibility

To enter this competition you must:

• Be aged 18 years or over.
• Be a resident of the United Kingdom.
• Meet all published entry requirements and pre-requisites for the course(s) selected.
• Be legally entitled to attend training in the UK.

Employees of PASS Ltd and members of their immediate families may be excluded from entering.

4. How to Enter

• Entry is completely free.
• No purchase is necessary.
• Entrants must complete the official competition entry form before the published closing date for each draw.
• Entrants may select one or multiple courses they wish to be entered into.
• Only one entry per person per course is permitted unless otherwise stated.

5. Prize

The prize consists of one free place on the selected PASS Ltd electrical training course at our Stevenage training centre.

The prize includes:

• Course tuition.
• Course materials normally supplied to paying delegates.
• Examination and certification fees where these are included as part of the standard course package.

The prize does not include:

• Travel.
• Accommodation.
• Parking charges.
• Any other personal expenses.

There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be exchanged for money.

6. Winner Selection

• Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before each draw.
• Separate draws will take place for each advertised course.
• Each entrant will remain eligible for all course draws they have selected.

To allow as many people as possible to benefit from the competition, each individual may only win one free training course during the competition period. Once a person has won a prize, their remaining entries will be withdrawn from subsequent draws.

The Promoter’s decision is final.

7. Course Availability

Winners must:

• Be available to attend the course date offered.
• Meet all course pre-requisites.
• Comply with PASS Ltd’s standard booking conditions.

If a winner cannot attend the allocated course date, they will automatically be entered into the draw for the next available scheduled date for the same course during the competition period.

If no further course dates are available before the end of the promotion, the prize will unfortunately lapse.

PASS Ltd reserves the right to substitute the prize with a place on an equivalent course where appropriate.

8. Notification of Winners

Winners will be contacted using the telephone number and/or email address provided on their entry.

If a winner:

• Cannot be contacted.
• Fails to respond within 7 days.
• Declines the prize.
• Is found to be ineligible.

PASS Ltd reserves the right to redraw the prize.

9. Attendance

Prize winners are expected to attend the course once their booking has been confirmed. Failure to attend without reasonable notice may result in forfeiture of the prize and may affect eligibility for future competitions.

10. Course Changes

PASS Ltd reserves the right to:

• Reschedule training dates.
• Substitute an equivalent course.
• Cancel a course where minimum delegate numbers are not met.
• Withdraw a prize where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

11. Publicity

As a condition of accepting the prize, winners agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities relating to the competition.

This includes consenting to PASS Ltd using the winner’s:

• Name.
• Company name (where applicable).
• Photograph.
• Video footage.
• Testimonials or course feedback.
• Course attendance images.

These may be published on PASS Ltd’s website, social media channels (including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and similar platforms), printed marketing material, email campaigns and other promotional media without further payment or compensation.

Winners will be asked to sign a publicity and image consent form before attending the course. If a winner declines to provide this consent, PASS Ltd reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

12. Data Protection

Personal information supplied will only be used for:

• Administering this competition.
• Contacting winners.
• Arranging course bookings.
• Where permission has been given, providing information about future PASS Ltd training courses and services.

Your information will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and PASS Ltd’s Privacy Policy.

13. Fair Play

PASS Ltd reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

• Submits false or misleading information.
• Submits multiple entries contrary to these rules.
• Attempts to manipulate or interfere with the competition.
• Behaves in a manner considered fraudulent or abusive.

14. Liability

PASS Ltd accepts no responsibility for:

• Lost, delayed or incomplete entries.
• Technical failures affecting entry.
• Events beyond its reasonable control that prevent the competition or training course from taking place.

15. General

PASS Ltd reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw this competition at any time where it becomes necessary to do so.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
