By the end of this course, you will:
Officially no. However, this course is designed for practising electricians with ideally at least 2 years’ experience in electrical inspection and testing, experience working with live boards, and a solid understanding of electrical science, principles, and three-phase systems. It is also recommended that candidates hold an up-to-date qualification in the current wiring regulations.
All candidates must be over 18 and have a good command of written and spoken English.

Yes, it prepares you for progression to City & Guilds Level 4 in Design and Verification (2396) and further supervisor or specialist roles.
Theory is delivered in-class, complemented by practical assessments. However, full practical skills may require supplementary practice depending on provider.
We recommend completing the C&G 2392-10 Level 2 Fundamentals and Initial Verification Course to build confidence before tackling the Level 3 course.
